The dislocation ensemble considered in the present study consists of statistically similar dislocation configurations which is manifested through: the time evolution of scalar dislocation density for all configurations considered in the ensemble during relaxation (a), the time evolution of plastic strain during the relaxation procedure for the ensemble (b), the convergence of the averaged second order alignment tensors represented as ellipse in the slip plane with increasing number of configurations N considered for averaging (c). Compare Table 2 for the associated eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the averaged second order alignment tensors ρ(2). The ellipse filled in gray represents the second order alignment tensor of the final ensemble (N=300)
