The Xe monomer concentration throughout the polycrystal after 1389 days for the clustering but no re-solution case and for the clustering and re-solution case at 1000 K is shown in (a) and (b), respectively. The Xe monomer concentration for the clustering but no re-solution case and for the clustering and re-solution case at 1800 K is shown in (c) and (d), respectively. The interfaces are shown in black. Re-solution results in a large Xe monomer concentration at 1000 K, while it does not at 1800 K. The maximum Xe monomer concentration is 20 times smaller in (a), (c), and (d) than in (b) and is not visible in the images
